La Tzoumaz (1,500 m), a small, quiet village, is located in the heart of the "Les 4 Vallées" ski region with a view of the picturesque Rhône Valley.
The "4 Vallées" region (in the French part of the canton of Valais) is part of the largest connected ski area in Switzerland and one of the largest ski areas in Europe.
The 412 km of slopes offer a variety of slopes for every skier in a stunningly beautiful setting. Families and beginners appreciate the wide slopes in La Tzoumaz and ambitious skiers appreciate the variety of long runs ( off-piste) and deep snow slopes in the 4 Vallées.
At 3,330 m, Mont Fort is the highest mountain in the "4 Vallées" region of the Valais Alps that is accessible by cable car. From here you can enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the Alps (including views of the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc).
Mont Fort is also famous for having one of the steepest mogul slopes and challenging descents.
